Electric ATV DC Motors

Electric ATVs are All Terrain Vehicles that require one or more electric motors for propulsion. As with all applictions of dc motors it is essential that the correct motor is chosen for an Electric ATV. All Terrain Vehicles need to have enough power to navigate off road as well as on road and therefore will need larger and stronger motors.

One very good solution for the power in an ATEV is a Powered Axle which is an all-in-one solution, it combines an axel and a large, powerful motor.

Other solutions are fractional DC motors with high-intensity permanent magnets which allow for higher horsepower on a smaller scale without the need for field coils.
